Real Pants is also teaming up with Submittable and Curbside Splendor to host SCROLLBAR, a major off-site event on Saturday at 6pm. What can you expect? If you’ve been to the Literature Party, which we’ve thrown for the last four years, or the Train Reading in Chicago 2009, or the Zoo Reading in DC, you know you can expect something totally unique.
And if you lucked out and got a ticket to “Brunch Ranch” in Seattle, or our Launch Party in NYC last month, you know we are committed to food—so suffice it to say: Dinner is served.
It’s long been a goal of RP EIC Amy McD to solve the “food problem” at AWP—namely, when is dinner, with so many extraordinary readings? So we’re approaching it head on, presenting amazing food to pair with some brilliant drinks—I mean, readers.
Who are these readers? Well, it’s too soon to say anything else about the program (like who the musical guest will be), but stay tuned. We’ll announce a whole lot more next week.
Do you like Real Pants? Want to find out more about what we’re up to? Want to pitch us an idea for a new beat? We’ll be at AWP. Visit us at our booth!
We’re at stall 1337:
We’re actually referring to our booth as a Portal, naturally. Part science fair, part think tank, and part Youtube studio—we’ll also have books from our contributors available, plus the coolest Ex Libris stickers you ever saw.
Stop by to learn how the internet works, and say a few words for our AWP video series.
