This week I asked writer Cassandra de Alba to share a photograph of her workspace and answer the question: Messy or clean?
I’d like to pretend that I am a clean person, but obviously I write in my bed even though I own a desk, and I don’t even make that bed. Clean writing spaces kind of intimidate me, like when someone gives you a fancy notebook and you’re scared to start writing in it because it’s so pretty. I like to start from a place of mess. – Cassandra de Alba
