From the Desk of … Cameron Pierce

From the Desk of … Cameron Pierce

This week I asked Cameron Pierce, writer and head editor of Lazy Fascist Press, to share a photograph of his desk and answer the question: Messy or clean?

A photograph of writer Cameron Pierce's desk

The rods in the corner belong on the rack above the desk. They’re all rigged up, one for surf fishing, the others for trout and panfish, which is why they’re set aside, ready to go. It may look like a mess, but there’s order here. This desk has traveled with me through three states and seven zip codes. My writing space used to be a disaster, but now I’ve gotten it under control. I wrote probably a million words at this desk in terrible messes. Now it’s almost orderly, except for the hooks I leave around.
