From the Desk of … Danielle Susi
This week I asked writer, editor, and interviewer Danielle Susi to share a picture and talk about one item on her desk.

I’d like to say it’s out of the norm for my desk to be this messy, but this seems to be its constant state. I’ve accepted it and likely even encouraged it with my little collections of papers taped on the wall and clutters of nail polish bottles and essential oils. The best part is the stack of books on the right side of the desk. Many of them are books my friends have written. I keep them there because it’s nice to have company when you’re writing. My friends are goddamn brilliant and talented, so it’s also good motivation. – Danielle Susi
