From the Desk of … Jon-Michael Frank

This week I asked Jon-Michael Frank, writer and Birds, LLC acquisitions editor, to share a picture and talk about one item on his desk.

a photograph of Jon-Michael Frank's desk

Below the shelf is a rainbow my friend Christina painted for me that reminds me of Emily Kendal Frey’s line, “the sidewalk is a rainbow taking me out of my life” and above it is some apophyllite I purchased at a gem shop at the edge of the desert in Arizona that is said to carry the Akashic record. Between the egress of the rainbow and the totality of the astral plane I try and adopt a life within which mine might matter. – Jon-Michael Frank
