From the Desk of … Laura Marie Marciano
This week I asked poet, media artist, and founder of gemstone readings Laura Marie Marciano to share a picture and talk about one item on her desk.

On the top shelf of my bookshelf are the pointe shoes I wore in 6th grade. I remember my ballet teacher telling me that I didn’t have good feet but I had strong legs. I think the shoes are sort of a Yin/Yang symbol to me. They remind me when I am working of the great heights I have fallen from since I was 12 but also, like, that there is always going to be something good to counteract the badbad feet or bad writing or a bad life. – Laura Marie Marciano
