From the Desk of … Quincy R. Lehr

This week I asked Quincy R. Lehr (poet and Associate Editor of The Raintown Review) to share a photograph of his desk and answer the question: Messy or clean?

The computer is open to ten web pages and three Word documents, with a Vox practice amp to the side and a guitar in my lap. This indicates where I am right now, a couple of weeks into summer breakless a matter of messy versus neat than working in reverse through the archaeological substrates of projects set aside for the rush to the end of term. The Raintown Review (for which I’m the associate editor) is coalescing; an essay is more or less due; and I’m still not quite happy with a rhythm guitar part on a demo track. – Quincy R. Lehr
