From the Desk of … Sonya Vatomsky

This week I asked poet Sonya Vatomsky to share a picture of their desk and answer the age-old question: Messy or clean?

Messy. But it depends on the mess! I like paper mess and book mess and wine glass mess. Maybe “clean clutter” is more accurate? This is actually the cleanest my “desk” has looked in a whilelast weekend I moved probably twenty poetry books and chapbooks to other little tables in my apartment, so it only holds my laptop and my kindle and my to-read pile, along with a rotating assortment of wine bottles, wine glasses, and candles. And cat hair. – Sonya Vatomsky
