The Real Pants Instagram account has featured and will continue to feature a diverse group of writers, publishing houses, and writing affiliates, but it will never again see a Mark Baumer. One of the things that makes the writing community so interesting is that the people that populate it are as unique and compelling as the characters they create. We loved having Mark take over for the week. He definitely brought a new style and humor to the @actualpants account. Thanks, Mark!
Mark Baumer lives in Providence Rhode Island. He works in a library. In 2010, he walked across America. He is currently working on a novel called, “Subscribe to My Youtube Channel.” His website is: thebaumer.com.

I decided to go look for some book deals today in an office supply store today after work but I only found some boxes of letter-sized wood. These boxes of copy paper were advertised as a #hotdeal (buy 2 get 1 free) but it was nearly impossible for me to lift the three boxes. Sure seems like a pyramid scheme if I’ve ever seen one. #thanks
I heard if you burn all your books then ebook versions of the burning books will magically appear in all your electronic devices.
This is a recent agent query I sent out. So far not a single agent has ever replied to one of my queries. Pretty sure I’m doing it all wrong but that’s sort of the point right?
This is Henri (onree). He’s working on his novel. Also pictured David Emanuel’s foot (@draverid).

I was working on my novel this morning and ended up taking a pretty good spill. Luckily I was wearing my helmet. #thanksobama
